Lauren Hays and Walter Cunningham of Kingdom At Work in Lubbock, Texas present this Kingdom Business Leadership Seminar for business professionals and executives who want to learn more about living out biblical principles in the workplace.

The seminar features keynote sessions from Lauren and Walter, personal stories of how God’s Kingdom is moving in the marketplace and a Q&A time. Table hosts will lead discussion around your table following each keynote session so you have the opportunity to process and apply the content to your business or work experience.

• Session 1: Spiritual Calling & Kingdom Leader – Being called to the marketplace is a calling from God. Hear the Betenbough Companies’ story and how God has transformed the way we see marketplace ministry. When God begins to transform any business or ministry, His first order of business could very well be to transform you. A Kingdom Leader is wholly submitted to God, called and appointed by God, and equipped and empowered by God.
• Session 2: Kingdom Style – A Kingdom Style flows out of a wholly submitted Kingdom Leader, places a higher value on people than on profit, and develops an intentionally relational environment.
• Session 3: Hearing From God – God is speaking to us all the time. He desires relationship with us above anything else and relationship requires two-way conversation. We’ll explore together how we can hear from God for ourselves and others.

About the Keynote Speakers

Walter Cunningham – Executive Director

Walter Cunningham joined Betenbough Homes in 2015 as Operations Supervisor and was promoted to IT Manager. In 2017, Walter became the Vice President of Business Development for Betenbough Companies and was charged with the strategic growth of new enterprises for the organization. Today, Walter serves as executive director and board member of Betenbough Companies, PBC. He is a student of leadership development and loves investing in others for God’s glory in the marketplace.

Lauren Hays – Communications Manager

Lauren Hays joined Betenbough Homes in 2021 and serves and the Communications Manger for Kingdom At Work. Her favorite part of her job is walking alongside her team members and watching them grow personally, professionally, and spiritual. Prior to her current role she served as director of sales support, marketing manager, and public relations coordinator.
