Event Guide
Our goal is to help make this event as streamlined and easy to plan as possible. Below is what each team will be responsible for executing.
Our Team
- Provide marketing collateral and approval of event collateral prior to distribution.
- Provide Powerpoint presentations and videos for our portion of the speaking engagement.
- Provide speakers from our Kingdom at Work team who best fits the needs of your event.
- Connect you with individuals from our network in your area.
- Promote event on kingdomatwork.com and all social/online platforms.
- Support your team with any additional needs.
Your Team
Host Team
- Find + Book a venue.
- Coordinate + host registration. (We can help with this if needed.)
- Promote event locally through your contacts and other resources.
- Coordinate + provide catering if necessary.
- Reimburse travel costs + hotel rooms for 2-3 individuals - outside of this, we do not charge other fees.
Over time, we’ve learned a few lessons on what works well. We’re passing these tips along so you can benefit from our experience and past mistakes!
Do
- CHARGE AN EVENT FEE.This fee will be determined by your organization and can go toward covering the cost of the event, and ensures individuals are invested in attending.
- HOST EVENT AT A BUSINESS OR VENUE.This could be an event center, conference room at a 3-star hotel, etc. We recommend events not be held at churches to remove any barriers, such as denomination, that may unintentionally influence turnout.
- APPOINT AN EVENT LEADER.This person should field all communication and be the primary event contact.
- TYPICALLY, AT MINIMUM, 20 ATTENDEES MAKE AN EVENT IMPACTFUL.If you don’t believe you can garner 20 attendees, let’s pause and discuss our options.
Don't
- SOLICIT FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS FROM KINGDOM AT WORK CONNECTIONS,if seeking sponsorships.
- HOST AN EVENT ON A WEEKEND.This is to protect family and personal time on weekends for all attendees.
- HOST A PLANNING MEETING WITH TWO TO THREE ATTENDEES.Planning meetings should be limited to key decision makers for the event.
We’ve provided a basic timeline below to help in planning your event. This isn’t comprehensive and may vary based on your team and event goals.

Solidify a date with Kingdom at Work and host teams.
Host team books venue, catering, and any tech needs.
Host team to determine event registration process.
2 Months
Prior to Event
Kingdom at Work and host teams meet to discuss agenda, speakers and details.
3-4 Weeks
Prior to Event
Host team to send invites.

Check in on registration numbers.

Event
Kingdom at Work and host teams to run through event agenda.

- 5 mins | Kingdom at Work Film
- 50 mins | Sessions 1 & 2: KINGDOM AT WORK TEAM ( Short transistion between them )
- 15 mins | Session 3: KINGDOM AT WORK OR HOST TEAM
- 10-15 mins | Q&A: HOST TEAM ( if there's time )
- 5 mins | Wrap Up & Prayer: HOST TEAM
